Beautiful, sweet, BIG Henry. At 6:15 this morning, one of my closest friends gave birth to a 10lb 3oz STUNNING little boy. Naturally. That’s right folks…you read it right. He is handsome and lovely and all things good and sweet and fresh and beautiful. Can you tell how smitten I am with him? Below are the photos…less than 2 hours old!

All groggy and pink-cheeked. There is something about seeing them first thing, when they are a little bit closer to dreamland. They always have a far-away look in their eyes, like perhaps when they were sleeping, they went back to visit their former life, or loved ones. Who knows.
